1. Who We Are
Snapglow ("the App", "we", "us") is a photo-editing and beauty-camera application for Android, developed and operated by LUMENIX as an independent app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Photos and Camera Access
The App requests camera and photo-library access so you can take or select a photo to edit. All image processing — face detection, the beauty tools (eyes, lips, blush, whiten, blur), the AI Enhance tool, and every Explore style (Cartoon, Anime, Cinematic, Vintage, Portrait, Enhance) — happens locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to us or to any server we control, and we have no access to them. Edited photos are saved to your device (to the App's gallery folder) and remain there until you delete them or uninstall the App.
2.2 Information You Enter (Stored Only on Your Device)
On first launch the App asks for a display name so it can greet you and personalize on-device reminder notifications. You may optionally add a profile photo. This name and photo, along with your gold-coin balance and your chosen language, are stored only in the App's local storage on your device. There is no account and this information is never transmitted to us or any server. You can change or clear them at any time in the App's Settings, and uninstalling the App removes them.
2.3 Advertising Data (via Google AdMob)
The App is supported by ads served through Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, app-open, rewarded, and rewarded-interstitial ads — for example, watching a rewarded ad grants gold coins, which you can spend on Explore styles and the AI Enhance tool). To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect:
- Your device's advertising ID
- General device information (device model, OS version, language, screen size)
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- App usage and interaction data related to ads (impressions, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us directly, under Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can review and reset your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads (path may vary by Android version).
2.4 Automatically Collected Technical Data
Like most apps, basic technical signals (crash logs, general device/OS information) may be collected by Android system services and by the Google Play Services libraries the App relies on (for example, for ads). We do not operate a separate analytics or crash-reporting service of our own.
3. Permissions the App Requests, and Why

4. How We Use Information
- To provide the App's core editing features, entirely on your device.
- To store your display name, profile photo, gold-coin balance and language locally so the App remembers your preferences.
- To send you on-device reminder notifications (which you can turn off).
- To display advertising that supports the App being free to use.
- To grant and spend gold coins for Explore styles and the AI Enhance tool.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos for any purpose other than displaying them back to you within the App.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party SDK that can independently collect data as described in its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob / Google Play Services — advertising. Google Privacy Policy
When you use the App's share feature to send a photo to another app (WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.), that photo is handed off via Android's standard share mechanism — that destination app's own privacy policy governs it from that point on. We do not see or retain a copy of what you share.
6. Data Storage & Retention
Your photos, display name, profile photo, coin balance and language preference are stored only locally on your device. We do not retain copies anywhere else. Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device (subject to your device's own OS behavior).
7. Your Choices & Rights
- Delete your photos at any time from the App's gallery / "My edits" screen or your device file manager.
- Change or clear your name and profile photo in the App's Settings.
- Turn off notifications via Android Settings → Apps → Snapglow → Notifications.
- Revoke permissions (camera, photos) at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Snapglow → Permissions.
- Reset or opt out of ad personalization via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA. Since we do not operate servers that store your personal data, most such requests relating to your advertising ID are best directed to Google via the link above. You may also contact us using the details below and we will assist where we are able to.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App, including keeping your photos and personal preferences local to your device rather than transmitting them anywhere. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
